The process

In Class Students   $500

1. Get your permit. Although you can take the classes at 15 years and 5 months, we are not behind on driving students. We generally tell folks to give us 6-8 weeks to get them driving. The contracts required by the state are void after 6 months and then the process starts over. That 6 months starts the first day you attend class. Running out of contract means more out of pocket expenses for you. We will have all students completed within that time, no exceptions.  

2. Sign up for the class, see the dates of upcoming classes on the "upcoming classes" tab above.  Fill out the in class registration form completely. (see registration forms tab above) and return it to the office with a $200 dollar deposit to hold your spot. Total cost is $500, the balance will be due before driving instruction begins. 

3. Come to the 8 classes over the two week period specified. Due to new laws, you can not be added to our drive log until you have completed all of the class sessions. 

4. At the conclusion of the class we will add you to our drive log and you will be called to schedule drive times. This is generally done by class and birth date. It may be in the 6-8 week range, sometimes sooner.  But we will call you!!!  

5. When we call we will schedule the first drive session. After seeing the students ability and their time frame to get licensed we will schedule the remaining 6 hours of driving instruction. If you do not answer, we will try any other numbers provided on the drive log, but we need to talk with you... Ensure your voice mail box is active and not full. Some Instructors may text you if they are trying to call and do not get an answer. 

6. After the driving is completed and payment is satisfied... We will then  issue a DT certificate. This is the certificate you need to schedule your drivers exam in the state of OHIO. All DT Certificates will be mailed within 48 hours of your last drive, unless otherwise arranged by you. If you wish to pick up a certificate at the office speak directly to Robin or Crystal. DO NOT schedule your drivers exam until you have this certificate in hand!

7. Take your test. When you go to the exam station you need your permit and DT certificate. To schedule your exam...   go on line at;   bmvonline.dps.ohio.gov

8. If you need to use a vehicle to take your drivers exam or would like some refresher Instruction before your test...  call our office, we offer that service at a discounted rate to our students.  

On Line Students    $500  plus provider cost

1. Get your permit.

2. Sign up for on line classes with an approved provider (see our link to Aceable) click on the "on line partnership" tab above, and start the classes!

3. Once you receive your "Certificate of Completion".  Submit that certificate, your payment in full $500, and the on-line registration form to our office. (see registration forms tab above) 

4. We will add you to our drive log at that time and you will be called to schedule drive times in the order you were registered with us. (If you registered somewhere else and have been waiting forever, sorry, we will not bump you ahead of our students, but we can accept you and amaze you with our service!) Currently we are telling new clients this is about 6-8 weeks.  We work on a first come first serve basis, Although In-Class students are given priority over on line students in the month they signed up.  But we will call! In our experience online is not the easiest option, or the best. You really need to maintain disciplined to finish in a timely manner. And parents should really watch their teens, many just click through and try to answer questions until they pass. This option is truly for the very busy but driven student.
